Reading labels is not only for food. You can learn a lot about yarn by reading the labels. You can not just pick up any old yarn and needles and knit a sweater. If you do not follow the pattern directions your sweater will turn out too small or too big. All your hard work will go to waste. I am devoting this page to learning about different yarns and needles. I hope from this that you will become more savvy when choosing an appropriate project. I would also like the students to do some research on their own and add to this page.
